Vodafone Offers ‘Unlimited Calls’, 1GB Data at Rs. 199

The new Vodafone plan is priced at Rs. 199 and comes with bundled calls and provides 1GB data with validity of 28 days. The local and STD calls are capped at a maximum of 250 minutes of free calls in a day and 1,000 minutes in a week. If the user exhausts this limit, they will be charged at 30 paisa per minute for subsequent calls.

Since Jio skewed the dynamics of the Indian telecom industry by making all calls free to any operator across India, telcos have launched a number of plans offering bundled voice and data packs. Now, Vodafone has released a new recharge pack in Delhi-NCR circle for prepaid users looking for plans with unlimited calls across the country. Of course, the new Vodafone plan comes with bundled data too. This prepaid recharge plan to rival Jio comes within days of Aircel launching a Rs. 104 pack that lowers call tariff to 20 paisa per minute for 365 days.

Vodafone also says in its Terms & Conditions that users cannot make calls to more than 300 unique numbers in a 7-day period. If they breach the 300-people mark, all calls will be charged at 30 paisa per minute for the remaining validity.

Like other incumbents, Vodafone has been launching new offers to keep Jio at its toes. It recently updated its Rs. 348 plan to provide customers bundled calls and 1.5GB data per day, up from 1GB daily, for 28 days. In fact, Airtel and Idea Cellular also have 1.5GB data allocation plans under Rs. 350 nowadays.
